Do you know Chimpanzee bars? If you don’t, you have no idea what pleasures you’re missing. Luckily, you will be able to discover them at our Gear Fest because the “chimps” (as they like to call themselves) agreed to join the ranks of our partners.

The real chimps would surely be happy with their “chimp” brothers’ commitment to ecology and sustainability - the brand is a member of 1% For the Planet as well as The Vegetarian Society, and the bars are “made of the highest quality All Natural, Organic and Fair Trade ingredients.” They come in some pretty amazing flavours, too - our favourites are Beet Root and Carrot in the energy bars line (for extreme sport achievements) and Chocolate Espresso in the slim bars section designed for everyday munching. And there’s even one for kids!

The Chimpanzee website is a paradise for those who like to know everything about their food. You can count your calories, find exact information about the ecological footprint of each bar or energy drink (yes, they do those too!), study the nutrition tables and look through graphs telling you whether you should enjoy the particular bar when warming up, in the full swing of things or at rest.
